A no-mar solution for bolt catch installation
Yay! No more using blue painters tape and no third hand necessary to install the bolt catch roll pin. It's hard to see in the pictures but there's a notch where the jig interfaces with the take down pin hole. These cut away punches are somewhat fragile so at least this jig supports it and keeps everything in line. Also try using a toothpick, piece of plastic rod, uncooked pasta or something similar as a slave pin while installing the bolt catch pin.
