This authentic WWII-era Springfield Armory replacement/production barrel features the distinct "SP" marking (Springfield Proof / Springfield Armory manufacture) along with the "REP1" heat lot/inspector code stamped on the barrel lug area. These government-produced barrels were utilized during WWII as armory replacements and field maintenance components for standard-issue U.S. Military 1911A1 sidearms.
